We were disappointed with the limited menu options at this restaurant. My partner had the curry while I opted for the plant-based burger. We requested to substitute the regular chips with a salad for the same price, but were disappointed by the small portion size. The meal was tasty but ultimately unsatisfying, especially given the prices. It would be beneficial to offer vegan chips as an alternative. I read on Happy Cow that there used to be a separate vegan menu, but I am unsure if this is still the case as there was no mention of it on the website or main menu. The waiter also failed to inform us about this when we inquired about vegan options. Clearer communication about vegan offerings would be greatly appreciated. Despite these shortcomings, the staff was friendly and the ambience of the restaurant was pleasant.

This is a fantastic pub with cozy open fires, welcoming staff, and a nice atmosphere. As a vegan non-drinker, it was a treat to be so well taken care of at this place. The vegan menu is quite extensive and offers plenty of options to choose from. The drink menu features a variety of soft drinks, lagers, ales, botanical bitters, and alcohol-free sparkling wine. Highly recommended.

This country pub is always beautifully decorated and dog-friendly, with real open fires. The menu offers five or six options for starters and desserts, along with recommended vegan drinks. Highly recommended for a nice meal.

Great to see a dedicated vegan menu, absolutely no confusion between vegetarian and vegan options. A good choice of appetizers, nets and desserts. The website says that the menu changes on Sunday (because the kitchen usually serves roast dinner), but there are still options available

This was a great meal, I had the aubergine roll and sweet potato fries and then the pecan tart for pudding.
