Bidra med feedbackTo be clear, this is a standard buffet resturant, eating and service is not better than cape cod or hunters grill. what they pay is the character experience, and personally I think twice the price is extremely exaggerated, and that is not...includes a drink as the other restaurants do. the character experience was fantastic, I think we met about characters that all the time to really interact with the children, and they saw time visits on the table to eat the children that was beautiful.
We paid well for the chances to eat here. we did it so that we could have the character dinner that was amazing, but the quality of eating is simply not great. they really need to get a grip. I know you don't go for eating, but almost for a family to eat pretty bad quality. what it was worth was the experience of meeting characters at dinner.
Very good buffet selection with some truly excellent quality food and a huge variety. The seafood section was excellent, the pasta and pizza and chips welcome, and the meats were all really good. Desserts absolutely deadly beware of the deliciousness! Whatever you do, pace...yourself it's so easy to overeat. Not great if you're heading for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril afterwards. Our waitress Lorra was very helpful. But the best thing was seeing the smiles of delight on the face of our five year old niece as each character came over to her, some several times during the meal. She collected at least autographs in her book, and we got some great photos. Yes the whole thing is very expensive. But it's a lovely experience for both children and adults alike, and hey, you're on holiday. There's plenty to enjoy... so enjoy!
Expensive prices, right, that we know and accept... spending some minutes with Mickey co unfortunately has a price. But what we DO NOT accept is to be treated differently from other customers... Here is our story, family of adults and kids......our little one had her birthday the very day we were at this restaurant (hence the booking there). Of course, we paid the extra price for the birthday cake to be brought by Mickey his friends € for the cake). Our waitress told us to tell her when we wanted the cake... so we did and she answered ok, you'll get it in minutes, just need to wait for Mickey to be ready .. Ok fair enough... But to our surprise, when half an hour later we asked for the cake again, the waitress was really sorry to tell us that the table right next to ours adults who arrived half an hour after us) were actually busy and in a rush (oh yeah? is anyone in a rush when visiting Disney and so had to get their birthday cake first... hum ok, I don't think that fair but well you're here to enjoy your time, not to make some scandal over a birthday cake... so we waited. And minutes later, yeah cakes arrived at the same time... but guess what? None was for us... ok, we asked again about this to the waitress, she gave some unclear explanation... in the end, it was birthday cakes that our little girl saw going under her nose before getting hers!!! Go explain this to a girl... I must say I'm really disappointed to see that Disney accepts some of his staff to get bribed so that some people can get what they want. It's just pathetic and so far away from the so-called Disney magic. Don't go there... your euros (yes that was we paid for the of us) will be much better spent elsewhere.
We had lunch here in February half term and would say it’s more for fine dining rather than for children. It was a very expensive buffet with limited options for children which is poor as the experience is based for them. We saw the main...characters apart from Goofy who came around once and we never saw him again and my son was disappointed to not get his autograph and a photo as the waitress told us he had gone... The characters generally come around times so if you are queuing at the buffet you do in fact miss some and by the time you sit back down the opportunity has gone and they’ve moved on. I wouldn’t recommend this place with small children I would book to go to cafe Mickey instead (do a late one! After the fireworks) the menu is better for children, there’s more space and as it’s late you get more time with the characters so more for your money! The characters are now getting harder and harder to see and it’s a shame you have to do this to see them really
