Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is quite pricey. I paid £8.25 for a bacon sandwich and coffee. The bacon in the sandwich was fatty, but there was a generous portion. However, the sandwich was cold. The coffee was good, but considering the high prices, I will not be returning.
I don't understand why there is so much pepper in the meat and potato pies. We tried them a few months ago and had the same experience, but decided to give them another chance while in Crewe today. Unfortunately, they were still inedible for us. What a waste of money. I understand that people have different tastes, but I will not be buying them again. I'm sorry, but I am disappointed.
I recently visited Chatwins on Remer Street in Crewe and had a disappointing experience. I ordered two beef baps and two sausage rolls, which cost nearly £15. The sausage rolls appeared to have been warmed up from the day before and were hard and inedible. The beef in the baps was tasteless and the bread was also rock hard. The lady who prepared my order seemed to be very stingy with the beef, as if she was trying to save it. When I asked if I could have mushrooms on my bap, I was told it would cost an extra £1, while stuffing was offered for free. Overall, I was not impressed with the quality of the food and will not be returning. I used to frequent the West Street shop 2-3 times a week without any issues, but this experience was unacceptable. It seems they are serving day-old food to customers, which is not a practice I support.
We went to Ruthin this afternoon and bought some lunch from chatwin and I had turkey bap and it was so tastless, meat so dry the stuffing dry and burnt. I Only had two tiny pieces of meat in my bap but I couldn't eat all. My husband had a cup coffee and though it just came out of machine it was stone cold. So disappointed with your new products. I think I just stick with your old products.
Having moved back to Crewe i was so pleased to see that the Cheshire bakery chain Chatwins still have one shop left open in a town centre rapidly becoming a ghost town of boarded up shop front With stiff competition from larger and cheaper national chains this oasis of old fashion quality stands head and shoulders above what's on offer from an uncut loaf to a truly silky smooth cream donut I just hope the people of this town realise how lucky they are to still have this place open because it's the kind of place once they're gone it'll be to late and forever missed for that mid day treat of real taste and luxury Sure greggs , Asda and the pound place down the road are cheaper but they don't taste half as good So please all you Crewetons out there support this place while you can
