Bidra med feedbackGood food, service, and atmosphere. Not outstanding for the price point, but very good, just kinda standard. Biggest standout was the pork belly perfectly prepared and delicious, a must try on this menu. Fried Brussels sprouts great as well, but hard to get those wrong. Nice bread and amuse of spinach dip on crostini. Extensive wine and whiskey lists, even bourbon flights available we went with a couple of cocktails with dinner and then again with dessert. Black Tai and Mulled martinis were solid, as were bourbon brown sugar and chocolate martinis. Duck and crab cake entrees were tasty and well prepared, although duck could've used more cherry red wine sauce. Apple cinnamon bread pudding for dessert was nice, although for $3 extra the scoop of ice cream was kinda wimpy.Parking: Plenty of parking close by.
Service was great. Steak was Excellent. Asparagus side dish was great. Salad portion was huge...wish they told us that before we each ordered one. One is definitely enough to share for two, but the dressing and flavor of the salad was bland. That was my only complaint.
Eliyah our waiter was awesome. When we go back, I will as for him.
I really wanted to love this place, but we just didn 't. We made reservations for a late Valentines Day dinner and were seated quickly once we arrived. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance was great. We ordered drinks, and the bar tenders were very friendly and very fast. We ordered the Pork Belly as an appetizer, and it came out almost burnt. I totally understand being charred, but this was way more than that. I 've never experienced burnt/dry pork belly, but that 's exactly what this was. We also ordered a cup of she crab bisque and it was delicious. For our entrees, my boyfriend got the aged ribeye with a baked potato and a side salad and I got the Bison braised short ribs. His ribeye was great, very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. His salad came out with no dressing, so we had to flag down the waitress to ask for it. My short ribs, on the other hand, came out cold. Not just room temp, but actually cold. I sent them back and the waitress brought me another plate of them. While I was waiting, my boyfriend was obviously eating his dinner, which was very awkward because I was just sitting there waiting for food. When the new order arrived, the short ribs were warm, definitely not hot, and the toppings were missing. It was supposed to come with crispy onions and a specific sauce, but it didn 't. This order of short ribs were also dry. Even though they were cold, the first order was very tender. The replacement order was not at all. At this point, I was frustrated and my hunger had passed, so I asked the waitress to box up the food for me.For $216, I expected a lot more from the food. We were very excited to give this place a try but honestly we wouldn 't go back.
The food at this restaurant was not good and extremely expensive. I would prefer to go home and cook my own meal rather than have to endure dining here.
