Bergey's Breadbasket - Chesapeake

This place was recommended by locals for the pies firstly, then the ice cream and sandwiches. After touring Bergey?s Barnyard in the heat of the afternoon the ice cream was a godsend. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially with our daughter?stree nut allergy. We enjoyed scoops in waffle cones. They sell canned products that you?d find at other farm stands plushomemade pies, muffins, and cup cakes. We didn?t have the sandwiches, but they are popular. This is a great place to bring thekids or grab some lunch and is worth the trip from the beach if you check out the Barnyard too.

If you're ever feeling sad, GO HERE!! BABY ANIMALS! The most amazing place on the planet. You can get ice cream, sandwiches and local gifts however the PETTING FARM IS THE BEST! For less than $5 you can pet all the piggies, goats, sheep and kitties. Thepigs are the best. They have a little soccer field too. This would be a great place to bring kids for the day! It's a beautifuldrive to get there too! Thank you Bergeys for existing. You are the happiness spot!

Growing up on Bergeys dairy milk and ice cream was one of the best times of my life. We had home delivery, which is almost unheard of now. They have created a nice country store that sells sandwiches and other treats. Wishing they still sold theirmilk as it was delicious. When I was younger I eveb had a calf named after me as I was the only female playing little leaguebaseball back in the 70s. Would visit the calf every weekend after my games. Grest memories were made here at Bergeys Dairy.

Good sandwiches and the floats are absolutely delicious. They also have fudge and honey for sale. Plus there is a petting zoo in the back

I love this little farm. The owners have passed, but I believe the family are the hired staff!! VERY friendly and helpful!! I like to feel out an area before I purchase and they did it for me!! I used to go to this place as a kid and I wanted to makesure it was the same feel, as from when I was a child. Another thing I like, is the ice cream IS for the lactose intolerant!! Nostomach pains at all after eating their ice cream EVER!!
