Waitrose Cafe Banbury - Cherwell

We regularly enjoy an excellent standard breakfast with quality coffee in a quiet and relaxed environment. the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. they pay something about the cafe prices, but they get restaurant standard food and drink. I find it remarkable that some cripples the time they need to wait, criticize; I understand that every meal is freshly cooked to order that reflects clearly in the high quality delivery. the longest we were waiting for was mine with which I have no problem. - Yeah.

The breakfast at this restaurant is good and enjoyable. However, has anyone from Waitrose ever tried the coffee here? It's terrible. We have tried every kind in the hope of finding something drinkable, but have been disappointed. Our friends also agree that the coffee here is not up to standard. We can buy their beans and make a delicious cup at home, but the coffee they serve is lacking. Come on, Waitrose! Wake up and improve your coffee!

I visited waitrose banbury store in juli with my one-year old daughter and while I checked out my shopping, she took up alarmingly a bottle of commercial cleaning fluid that had been left by the waitrose clean on the floor without lid...on her took a swag before I could take it from her, and we spent hours in a e and she was very unwell for where after the incident. it was for us as a family a tremendous and stressful situation, and waitrose refuses to apologize for their negligence or to share any details of their alleged safety review after the incident. I have remained completely shocked as it was treated by them, and on this basis elders would not recommend to take young children into the load, as it is clearly not a safe environment.

I wanted to have a coffee and thought I had found a small piece of something in my muffin. After waiting for a good minute with no server in sight, and with the summer heat making it uncomfortable, I finally decided to ask if our order had been forgotten. It turns out, I wasn't the only one waiting for their food. Disappointed in the service, I opted for a refund and left the restaurant.

Nice clean restaurant and food well presented. Gentlemen who took my order was lovely but other staff vacant looking and unhelpful. A fish finger wrap and fries took minutes to arrive and they forgot the fries so I had to wait another mins...for those. Bearing in mind there were only a few people in the restaurant i cannot understand the delay. Nice menu but very slow.
