When we found the food offer at a nearby hotel totally dreadful, we googled for an alternative place to eat and it suggested the Bull, where we ate on two nights. What a super find, really excellent food and service, very cheerful friendly and helpful bar staff, and something that is becoming a very rare, a REAL Village local.

This is probably the worst pub food we have ever had . Tasteless chill con carne. Cold chips , tiny burger pattie . Atmosphere was sorely lacking and poor service. Certainly won’t be returning.

Our first time here and we did pre book as it was school holidays and a really hot spell weather wise. We chose this as it had a play area and is local. The staff were all really lovely and the food was delicious, a great choice of mains. We had a variety of meals, pizza, a wrap, burgers and a salad and were all lovely. My grandson didn’t eat his pizza as it was so hot and he was busy playing so they boxed it up for us. It was pleasantly quiet and we stayed a long time. Will definitely go back.
