Bidra med feedbackI asked for help in choosing a cake. I didn't want chocolate to be a little vanilla and not too sweet. It was so fresh, light and tasty and it was bought for the next day Friday for Saturday) for my daughter's birthday. Excellent cake and very friendly...service.
Love it here. We live nearby and go at least once a month. The pastries are amazing, get a free donut with any coffee and the staff is friendly. The owner speaks both French and English. If you go through Chertsey on the...125 highway, make the stop!
I had promised my wife a fresh squeekey cheese from a local originator when we visited rural Quebec north of Montreal. I was frustrated to find nothing on the counters in the local small town depaneurs, as I had expected and was concerned... we can go home empty until we roll in Chertsey. I went to the Ultramar gas station to check whether it was only the Pain de Campagne next door, which was not only a Fromagerie, but also a bakery and coffee shop. We could not believe the selection of baked goods, cheese, sandwiches and treats. One could say that one had found something special when one noticed the quality and variety and the sheer mass of chocolate coating, which had been applied to almost everything lovingly. We went with some really fresh cheese curd that were incredible and much more baked goods than we could treat. If this place was in reach somewhere I lived, I would be a fat man! If you are somewhere near Chertsey or looking for a pretty car ride north of Montreal take a trip to Chertsey and take some fresh baking to fill your freezer. They were also friendly enough to help us despite our very limited French!
