We had a great time for lunch. I enjoyed the gnocchi and then shared an amazing bomb alaska!
The romantic playlist and charming atmosphere at this restaurant is complemented by white tablecloths and candles. The wine list offers a good selection of Italian wines and gluten-free options are also available. The portions are on the smaller side and the presentation is simple. Overall, the quality is average with minimal garnishes and a lack of greens. The cuisine lacks a modern Italian touch, but still provides a pleasant dining experience rooted in culinary tradition.
This visit was disappointing. The service was not great, as we had to repeatedly ask for our drinks. We ordered a special dessert, a cannoli for $10, but were surprised to receive only a small cannoli with a tiny filling. We suggest informing the staff when customers are paying $10 for a dessert, as they ended up bringing an extra cannoli after we complained. However, they still charged us for the second cannoli. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and that is why we did not leave a tip and will not be returning.
Have been to Bella Cosi a bunch of times and it never disappoints. The food is aaaamazing, from the starters to mains to dessert!! Always a pleasure to be served by waiter Patrick (has served us the past couple of times we’ve been) and he’s...always so friendly, accommodating and so informative about the menu. We’ll be back 200
