Bidra med feedbackAfter a 5-hour drive. Interesting staff and a nice welcome. A trio of the leading local gents brought the world to the right and were as friendly as the staff. Nice place to know, and people... watch and wind after reasonable prices also when reading the menu.
Pair of Sauvignon Blanc glasses, freshest skate with a white wine sauce served with magnificent Charlottes and green beans for two, plus a bottle of wine 45 €. Several tables outside the restaurant (where we were), much more over the street, with glass screens...for protection. Very recommended!
We stopped here on the way back to Poole from Cherbourg. Great little eatery with excellent food, reasonable prices and a very friendly owner, Noel, who speaks good English and has a lot of character. If you’re in Cherbourg stop by!
Great food, and at a really keen price (formule 2 dishes for 12.30EU about £10 at the current exchange rate ; gets very busy so booking would be an idea, service was a little on the slow side (due to the luchtime 'rush ' , but...the food more than made up for it. Would visit again and would recommend :
Popped in for a couple of cidrès on 13th may and was a lovely relaxing atmosphere, barman was really friendly and was patient with my poor french but seemed grateful I was trying hahaha. The smell from the kitchen was delightful I'll have to try...the plat de jour next time I'm in cherbourg.
