We drove in the rain along the coast to Cherbourg when the road went. Opposite the Au Noirot. What a find. It was busy with mainly locals at noon, always a good sign. Basic menu announced on...the table of waitress in French with a shy attempt in English. 3 courses free drink, exactly what we needed. The kind of restaurant that takes off in France, what a pity. I hope we can find it again.
