Hot Chips - Chennai (Madras)

LOVE the filter coffee here. When you do takeaways they are pretty generous with the portion of coffee :   The food is really good no need to say anything further. Quick service, neat kitchen and great taste.

Its a decent spot for a quick meal..We had ordered the south indian meal and Bombay thali. It was filling (especially the Bombay thali) and ok priced. their upstairs air-conditioning is also a good relief in the summers.

Tasty food but either their quantity is too low or the price is bit high compared to others. Also parking attendant tries to send bikers away (make them park at a distance) so that cars get more space closer to restaurant.

Located in a very prominent and visible manner at Karapakkam , one cannot easily miss Hot Chips. Even though it has a lot of other restaurants around it , it still stands as the most reliable and pocket friendly option in the locality. The ambience is nothing special but different as in , it has a very open feel to it , letting sun light illuminate the whole dining hall (as far as the non AC hall is concerned) . They have made it self service at ground floor , where prices are quite cheap and the delivery is real quick. <br/ <br/ We have had a lot of dishes here Idly , Dosa , Ghee Dosa , Chapathi , Paneer Butter Masala , Phulka , Naan , Malai Koftha , Noodles , Fried Rice , Gobi Manchurian , etc. All are really tasty for the price and of decent quantity. The combos avaiable for lunch are really good. One of them have 3 phulkas and a portion of paneer butter masala and another has some fried rice served with gobi manchurian dry. What surprises us is that they don't cut down the quantity of side dishes even in combos. V had gone here fa breakfast. Tried deir mini tiffen nd pooris. Taste wise I feel it has gone down a little compared to before. Vfm s good! :
