ALEX - Chemnitz

The burgers are certainly smaller than in the UK but ohhhhh so much nicer. It is a great place to sit back and people watch with an ice cold beer. Really enjoyed it.

Located in a small square immediately adjacent to the Rathaus (Town Hall), this is a very stylish, slightly hipstery place, which at the time of our visit was full of mostly young people. The service was good, the food, fish and chips for my husband and chicken terriyaki for me, was well presented and tasty and the German beer was as good as German beer is expected to be. The bill, for a very satisfying meal, was a surprisingly reasonable price.

After we got over the charades of trying to order what we wanted, we found the place nice and inviting. The food was nice and was a reasonable price for East germany.

A nice place just at the centre of Chemnitz. Me and friends of mine spent nice time there. The food wasn't bad... I would say in general was average.

I've been with Alex many times, and I've always liked to go there. The food always tastes the drinks. I'm always here for peace after a meal. Besides, I found it really cool that there were Deo and Air Refreshers on the toilet.
