Bidra med feedbackAmazing service from Meg what a lovely girl !! Such an asset to the company can’t believe she’s not a manager thought she owned the place
I don 't like doing bad reviews, but beyond delivering our drinks to the table in a timely fashion, not much went well. It took a while for food to come out... Burgers were dry, chips overcooked and luke warm, halloumi fries fried to within a minute of being charcoal, children 's pizza barely cooked. Pigs in blankets were the best food on the table, but even 2 of them looked and felt like lumps of coal. When we complained about some, there was an excuse about old oil , I dont cook often but if what I produced looked like that it wouldn 't leave the kitchen and I dare say my 5 year old could have done a better job.
My partner and I popped in for a swift half at The Bank House, but decided to order some food. Whilst we were initially pleased with the range of ales available, the same cannot be said for the food. We ordered baked potatoes with tuna and mayo filling. The food arrived, the potato was dry, and there was no mayonaise in it. Neither was there any butter, nor dressing on the salad. It was an unpleasant experience to say the least. I am pleased that the Bank House is still a Wetherspoons pub, but they really need to up their game on the food side of things. It feels like the place is just ticking over at the moment, no real effort is being made .
Waited half an hour for a sparsely filled panini and side salad that arrived with no dressing and no tomatoes. Every single one of the mayonnaise bottles on the condiments table was empty. This is the last time I eat in Spoons. Gave up on their stone cold breakfasts years ago.
Pub let down by rude staff member. Cacey was rude to myself and my friends, repeating antagonistic comments and shouting at us to 'move ' when we didn 't realise we were in her way. She needs to get a reality check and gain some manners.
