Creams Cheltenham

We arrived and there was only 2 other people there and 3 people working. There were know menus on the table to had to ask for one. I was just handed a menu, nothing was said, no hello, nothing We ordered 2 waffles, one came out then the other 8 minutes later. No apology so this is clearly the norm. Not the best experience

Clearly the management do not read these reviews as there is an underlying problem and our experience on Saturday 28th October was no exception. We had sushi for lunch and decided to go here for ice cream. We walked in probably around 2.30pm and the place was totally empty. We were not greeted by the one girl on duty. We chose our ice creams and she moved to the middle of the shop, not paying any attention to us. We stood at the counter staring straight at her and she ignored us and moved further to the back. We deliberately said well clearly we need to leave and STILL she ignored us. A disgrace of an employee, clearly bone lazy and could not care less. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT so when you finally have to close then perhaps you can look back at these reviews and realise that the clues were here all along. Absolutely astonished!

Creams is great for date with your partner, great desserts that just melt in your mouth its delicious and very nice staff aswell. Love it definitely coming back again!

We didn’t actually visit and eat in, it was a delivery service by Deliveroo. So this is based on the food rather than the service. We had bother with the initial order which was someone else’s. Driver refused to take wrong goods back and was very rude about it. Had to call and complain and eventually right order was delivered over an hour late. Not the fault of Creams but maybe they should have checked that the right order was going to the right address. Anyway, we appreciate that Italian ice cream is very good and this was the case for our order when it arrived. I do have a couple of observations though and they are: I ordered choc chip, vanilla and salted caramel ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and rolo chocolates. I think that Creams should make sure they use clean scoops for the ice cream as I definitely had coffee flavour in my choc chip and there was a lump of bubblegum flavour in my vanilla. Chocolate sauce!!! Well where was it? There was some but no more than a teaspoon £1.50 for a teaspoon of chocolate sauce!!! And as for the rolo chocolates, I had 4, yes 4!!! 4 rolo’s for £1.50 I can buy a pack of four tubes in a well known supermarket for £1.50!!! Now I know that you pay extra for these nice things to be delivered and to have them from a restaurant but those prices are a little bit steep I think over £20 for two ice creams. Good job it was a rare treat. I don’t think I will be doing it again for a very long time.

If I could give zero I would, absolutely no knowledge on gluten free (actually coeliac) the allergen menu didn’t match what was available and the girls there had no idea what gluten free was, needed a manager looked like it was being run by work experience students. My friends who aren’t coeliac enjoyed there’s. What a shame it looked nice but the toilets were dirty the staff rude and slow and clueless
