Bidra med feedbackI have visited this restaurant a few times and have always ordered coffee. The coffee selection is great, as well as their cakes. I tried the pumpkin latte and enjoyed it. The service is efficient, though the restaurant can get quite busy. The upper floor can be crowded, so I recommend sitting downstairs or outside. They also have a park nearby where you can take a walk.
Biscotti, Chelsea Pub, and La Cigale are all owned by the same person, creating a monopoly in Chelsea. Unfortunately, the quality of food and service at these establishments is lacking. The pub's food seems to come from frozen food boxes bought at a store, discouraging us from dining there. Biscotti is slightly better, but their early closing hours and unreliable service make it difficult to enjoy a meal there. We prefer getting pizza from Lea Fougères instead. It seems that the owner views these restaurants as cash cows and prioritizes profit over serving quality food. Visitors looking for a good meal should consider bypassing these restaurants in Chelsea.
We stopped for lunch and had a delicious meal at this restaurant. I ordered a pizza and my wife had a sandwich, both of which were very tasty and affordable. I would have given them 5 stars, but the lack of table service was a drawback. We noticed two empty tables but had to go inside to order, where we had to wait in line. After choosing our food, we received a device to alert us when our order was ready. However, the tables became occupied and we had to wait for one to open up. Luckily, we found a nice spot to sit and enjoyed our meal, although it could have been a frustrating experience. The staff who took our order seemed uninterested and chatted among themselves, appearing unprofessional. Despite this, I would consider returning for dinner in the future.
My wife and I ate here for dinner on their extended outdoor terrace. a relaxing and delicious meal with fast service. she had one of her pizzas (although at $18 for a vegetarian overpriced) while I had a very filling chicken club sandwich of grilled ...huh (with speck, echse, tomatoen, salat, pesto mayo on roasted Ciabatta bread for $12).
While visiting Gatineau Park we stopped in after snowshoeing to have coffee and a treat. Biscotti was the perfect spot serving fresh baked goods and scones. Cozy seating upstairs in the loft.
