Chicken Fry'd - Chelsea

We love this place. We purchased a quart of chicken salad yesterday 5/19. The person/group that makes the chicken salad must have a recipe issue because it is NEVER the same. Please bring consistency to this wonderful dish.

Stopped here on a whim while passing through the area. I ordered via the drive thru. I tried the chicken tender sliders and loaded fries. This food was the bomb! The tenders were fresh cooked, large and chunky. I was easily able to get several bites off of one slider. The chicken batter was crispy and seasoned well. I tried a few of their sauces (Alabama White BBQ, Nashville Hot Fry'd . Loved them all. Good consistency and taste to them. Service was great! Drive thru staff was personable. Manager popped her head out the window to apologize for the wait while my tenders cooked. It wasn't an unreasonable wait though. :

*We dined in and it wasn’t very busy.The people working here are so kind. Got that nice southern hospitality. I’ve not heard great things about this place but it was worth a try. I was proven wrong. I lovedddd my food. I got 3 sliders, fries, and street corn. The portions are huge although it’s pricey. The chicken was juicy and they provided us with more sauce and they even gave us samples to try the chicken salad! The pickles on my sliders were fresh.However… my mom ordered the chicken and dumplings. Man that was rough! I tasted it too. The dumplings were chewy and hard and the chicken is so shredded that the whole things is beyond mushy. Our “street corn” didn’t even have queso fresco on top. That ain’t not street corn child. I liked the fries; they were average tho. I did like the sauces. I got fry’d sauce and ranch.

I would not recommend this place. Quality of food is not consistent. As another review stated, they're mac and cheese is mostly liquid as if it was soup. Tenders are hit or miss taste as if they re-fry them

I stopped here after noticing this place off of highway 280. I was the only car in line and felt that my order should have been made to order. Everything was lukewarm. The chicken strips do have a seasoned flavor. I also had mac and cheese and onion rings.
