I went for Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The interior was beautiful, but it was quite empty. It took 10 minutes just to order a drink, and after 2 hours, only the main course had been served and our plates were not cleared. We decided to leave without waiting for dessert, despite informing the staff twice. The vegetables, including peas, were undercooked. It's no wonder why the place wasn't busy with customers. I won't be coming back as I don't have time to waste. What a shame! The price per person was £40-50. The food was rated 2 out of 5, the service 1 out of 5, and the atmosphere 2 out of 5. There was plenty of parking available.
Today, we visited the White House restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was very poor. It took over an hour to receive our main course of roast beef, and the vegetables were barely cooked. Despite complaining about the delay, we still did not receive our dessert after two and a half hours, so we decided to leave. When we tried to address the issue, the bar staff at the front of the house were more focused on serving new customers drinks. Our waiter, a young man, seemed overwhelmed as he was left alone to serve all the tables. The location was great, but we will not be returning anytime soon. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20. The food was rated a 3, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 3. Recommended dish: Sunday Roast.

We were initially unsure about when the Christmas menu was available, but it wasn't a big concern for us. The young girl with the broken thumb was exceptional, cheerful, and knowledgeable, and she was a great asset to the restaurant. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere all as a 4 out of 5.
