The Rettendon Bell - Chelmsford

The fish was very dry and inedible. The staff apologized and only charged us for one meal instead of two. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

This pub is fantastic! The atmosphere is lovely, the food is great, and the team is brilliant. I would recommend it to anyone. I'm so happy we decided to stop by.

Our third visit over the last couple of months. A great traditional old fashioned pub. The staff are fantastic, always very welcoming. The classic pub grub is excellent and very well priced. The Bell Burger is home made as are the excellent pies. The fish and chips is terrific. Good choice of beers for both lager and real ale drinkers. Love it, will be back soon.
