The Quart Pot - Chelmsford

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant with its friendly staff and consistently good food. The place is clean and dogs are welcome, plus there is ample parking and a nice park nearby for a walk with your furry friend.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we found that the car park was very busy, likely due to the nice weather. We were informed that our table was still occupied, so we were seated at another table next to a door that was constantly banging with a draft. We ordered our food and drinks, and while the chilli jam sausages were decent, the chicken goujons were average and the garlic bread was burnt and flavorless. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes for our roast, we inquired about its whereabouts and were informed that it would be ready in 10 minutes. When it arrived, the roast looked as though a bomb had exploded on the plate and was served cold. The beef was tough, the parsnips and carrots were hard, and the mash was subpar. The menu description did not match what we received. This was not the first time I experienced issues at this restaurant, as I encountered similar problems on Mother's Day. I had hoped for a better experience this time, but unfortunately, the same issues persisted.

A beautiful pub with cultivation/enlargement to the restaurant good drinks offer! The menu and its quality go beyond that of a normal English pub. Order at the bar, then table service! Well visited Reservation recommended

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, particularly with the live singer who was amazing. The staff are friendly and the food, including the Hake scallop tagliatelle and fish and chips, was delicious. We were also checked on to see how our meal was. Definitely worth a visit.

First time visit for a meal, food good service excellent ,a nice place to take familey well recommended.
