Mcdonald's - Chelmsford

Bit odd ordered burger, chips, coffee, and an apple pie. Brought everything else then said 6 mins for apple pie. Had to ask for new everything else when pie was ready as it was takeaway!

Great food, really friendly staff and the atmosphere is also good.

A few years ago I went into a local McDonald's with my wife and grandson, they ordered their food, leaving me to decide on mine. Next in the queue the sole assistant behind the counter turned towards me, I opened my mouth to speak and he looked straight through me, taking the order of the person behind me. I reacted, there was no apology, not even after the counter has received a slap with the palm of my hand. The assistant was told I would never ever use any branch of McDonald's again. Still no reaction and to cap it all the manager just stood behind the food racks clearly watching and hearing what had taken place their lack of involvement to deal with very obvious customer dissatisfaction seemed to echo that of the assistant total disinterest. I have kept that word, made some fifteen years ago.

Good McDonald's. Clean. Lots seating. Nice and helpful staff. Chips were cold but staff brought hot chips immediately after informing them. Outside seating is nice but was dirty.

The breakfast food was hot and greasy with a salty flavor. It was not bad overall.
