Horse Groom - Chelmsford

Never fails to impress, this pub in Chelmsford is truly one of the best. The drinks, food, and atmosphere are all top-notch. The Sunday menu is especially delightful - the beef rib practically melts in your mouth! I absolutely loved it.

I visited the restaurant today and had a great experience. The food was delicious and the staff was excellent. All of our needs were taken care of. Thank you all for a wonderful day. We can't wait to come back.

We checked out the menu online and were really looking forward to trying this restaurant. We decided not to make a reservation because we weren't sure what time we would arrive. When we got there at 12:00, we saw that there were only a few tables available. Even though there were only two cars in the parking lot when we tried to book a table, we were told there was a 45-minute wait. Unfortunately, we couldn't wait that long and had to leave. Hopefully, we'll get to try this restaurant another day. It would be helpful if they posted their exact dining hours on their website.

The food and beer at this restaurant are both delicious. The pub offers a variety of tasty dishes and a great selection of drinks. The staff is friendly, especially the man who waited on us. Just be aware that the pub can feel a bit chilly on colder days!

Unfortunately, this visit to the restaurant was a bit hit and miss. We made a last-minute reservation and could tell from the booked times that it would be busy, which it was. Surprisingly, we didn't have to wait too long to be served and for our food to arrive. On the bright side, the staff were lovely and our server was very nice. I ordered fish and chips, which was okay but the chips were sparse and seemed old. My husband ordered the mixed grill, but they forgot to include the steak. When we mentioned it, they brought out a sad and small looking piece of steak on a side plate. It was inedible and the rest of the meat was overcooked and dry. It's a shame.
