Bidra med feedbackThis Whole Foods is the nicest one I have been to that my brother recommend. The protocols are being practiced here and taking the drastic measures with the cleanliness procedures and keeping the shelves organized and stocked on the shelves. The produce section was the first department we shopped in. There were some staff members that were stocking vegetables and fruits on shelves. It was a nice to see since other stores did not have what we came across here. There are scales that tells the price and pounds before the registers. It is easier to get a clear picture. The sealable bags that were clear to see what is stored in the fridge. The Parmigiano Reggiano cheese wheels are available. These would make a great Christmas for all the pasta lovers out there. The blocks have some roughness on the outside that can be cut up into chunks or for those who like to purchases pre-graded cheese. It was my moms birthday so we came here to get two twin lobster tails that came with a marinade that was brined and then broiled till opaque. Then we made a mushroom risotto that had lemon and a couple other ingredients. The mushrooms made me take a look at them inside the pan. These had the nuttiest smell. It was insane. The chocolate cake was super decadent and rich with all that chocolate on chocolate. THE COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC The manager was at the front entrance was using the correct protocols so customers. I loved he let one group or an individuals in at a time and clean. I watched mom clean wipe down the handles as he instructed us to do that was separate then others. The cashiers and baggers allowed smaller groups or individuals one at a time at the front registers. It was nice to see the staff wearing gloves. I thought the store was clean inside and outside. The upstairs and downstairs eating areas cannot be accessed at this time. The chairs are removed from all areas including outside areas. The umbrellas are closed and secured to the tables. I observed where the heat lamps were while we walked to the end of the line I saw them grouped together.
Very expensive sushi rolls and without wasabi! One vegan roll is costing up to 10$. Drove miles to buy sushi and later on at home found out that there was a zero of wasabi. Typically everywhere they put wasabi into the container, but not in the Whole Foods, be aware of that if you like sushi.
They have such a massive inventory. I feel like I find something new I want to try every time I visit. Only thing really that's a downside is that everything is usually pricey. Be careful at the hotbar. It's so easy to keep adding items to your container because there's so many delicious dishes. Then when you go to checkout, you've got yourself a $26 takeout container of food. So if you visit this store, tread carefully because you could break the bank.
Since this grocery store is the closest one to me that sells fresh baked, organic or non GMO breads, pastries, and desserts, I knew I needed to give them another chance sometime. I have to have my weekly treat of such things! So, I stopped by this week after work to see their selection. They still sell fresh baked challah, an assortment of cookies, slices of carrot or chocolate cake, a gluten free peanut butter brownie, and a few different nicely sized cupcake options including a peanut butter and chocolate one. But I found the most unique dessert yet a mug cake! For under a dollar, you can buy a cake mix to make in a coffee mug, that includes sprinkles. The staff were friendly and courteous during my shopping experience this time, asking if I needed help finding anything and saying hello when going through the check out line. Whole Foods also still has that upstairs area that can be fun to hangout with friends if they're doing their weekly music and dinner deal night. Last year it was bluegrass and a $5 burger on Thursday nights. Heard it's jazz now. I'll be back to check that out one week too.
The Whole Foods Market is a good place to find quality healthy foods. I recommend shopping here for fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. I also like getting hard to find spices. There are loads of organic, vegan, and vegetarian food choices as well. The price varies and quite frankly for those who say the prices are higher have to consider food prices vary based on the season, sales and the weather of the season your crop is grown and the food fed to the vessel that holds your meat choice. Like any other grocery shopping experience you have to check for the sales and go to more than one store to get all of your products. This location is clean. The bake goods are fresh and tasty. The warm food bar was clean which is really important for folks who like any type of a buffet or self-service meal. The store associates are courteous and friendly. A nice place to shop! I love the discounts I get with Amazon Prime.
