University Pizza And Deli - Chattanooga

A longtime Chattanooga institution. Akram is always cooking great Mediterranean food. Great portions, great prices. One of the last reasonably priced places downtown.

Discovered this place a few years ago and it's since been my go to for Mediterranean food. No other places touch it especially the prices for lamb dishes. I tend to stick to the Shwarma wrap/plate cause it's so good, but even the more American and Italian dishes are great too. Got to know the owner pretty well and always have great friendly conversations. The establishment is always clean and the food is consistently great.

Visiting Chattanooga and stopped by this spot since there was an event downtown and we wanted something quick. Owner was extremely nice to us. Food was excellent!

Good local place for Greek and Mediterranean food. The spices in the meat has a lot of anise and cinnamon. Good overall.

The food was really great amount and very high quality. It's halal!!
