Bidra med feedbackCool rooftop indoor/outdoor bar with tapas at the top of the Westin Hotel in Chattanooga. It can get busy later in the evenings but it’s usually quiet later afternoon and early evening. The bar staff is super friendly and the pour a mean cocktail!!
Beautiful view of the interstate. The sodium content of movie theater popcorn is lower than the meatballs or potatoes we tried. The ambiance is just people talking over one another.Food: 2/5
We visited paloma twice during our stay at the Westin, both offering up 2 very different experiences. We first arrived at 6 pm to check the vibes . Half of the bar is windowless and the other half is a 3/4 glass wall with the rest being open to the elements. This was clearly the place to be as the weather was nice and there was a cool breeze. During this time there were about 15-20 guests and they had an adult cotemporary artist there who did an amazing job. We did not eat or drink at this time as we had just finished dinner. We then went back around 9:30 and the Bar had nearly table occupied with guests. This felt more like a sports bar as the TVs (which I didn 't notice earlier) were tuned to sports or either SportsCenter. I had ordered a Vodka Tonic and It was pretty decent. The Bartenders were doing an amazing job keeping up with the demand . They were constantly moving, making and delivering drinks. Overall, I enjoyed both trips and the fact that it seems to have something for you no matter what time you go, is a real plus for me.
Great place to eat or drink! Enjoy the athmosphere and scenery even when your all alone! Great Personnel service with a personal touch, thanks Lindy A!
We went here for dinner with my girlfriend on my birthday: I was looking for simple Spanish small plates to share. The layout is not as shown in the picture. The site was the top floor of the Westin Hotel, overlooking the city and a nearby interstate highway. It was a typical hotel bar with mostly high-top seating laid out for a mix of small and large groups. On a Wednesday evening shortly after 5 pm, the place was full and the atmosphere was very loud. The food was more-or-less what we were looking for. It was fresh and well-presented. The serving staff was very polite, but also very slow due to the many customers and few servers. Our experience was overwhelmed by the loud hotel bar atmosphere and less-than-comfortable seating. Whether this place is for you depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking to unwind with your business associates with cocktails and some good side plates, I recommend Paloma. If you are looking for a good tapas dinner experience in a somewhat more sedate atmosphere, I would consider looking elsewhere.
