Bidra med feedbackWe ordered tempura prawn udon and karage huhn udon in curry paste. it was nice, but we had better and much longer to cook. the train looks great and the service was friendly.
At the first visit this sushi bar. I was here for lunch with high expectations, but unfortunately disappointed. I ordered a few dishes from the train almost all were cold when they just came out of the refrigerator. I then ordered the Wagyu beef that was hot, but meat was very chewing. portions are very small (can be 4 or 5 small pieces meat.) then ordered a small dish from the menu think it would be hot. again the tear was cold. very disturbing experience. with so many food in the opposite I will not return
Also on a Tuesday this place was always full, but not this Tuesday and good reason. note on the train looked good or fresh the thunfish and salmon were just the wrong color and did not look appetizing. So, I ordered the mistvieh $14.80 for 5 bit kaubeef and an aubergine swim in sauce? seriously? my friend had the chicken carrage. men, this should have a garlic, ingwer, soy taste that marches into him, but today it was simply tasteless and greasy. she could not eat the edamame that was slim. was not even here (did the management change? and will never be there again. with the choice in chatswood for good Asian, they will not last long if the dings do not change. oh, and can someone please tell them to tell their waiting staff that their customers read the menu before they ask them if they are ready to order 10 seconds is not enough time!
A cold, rainy night in the middle of the vivid festivals and makoto advertised as a good place to go for a meal before the concert in the concourse. we had been there for lunch of some places and judged it to be appropriate. on the chifley square it is not, but you get what you paid for it. during the entry were about dozens of people sitting around the sushi train, stuffed with sashimi, sushi etc. are they expecting men? insulting greeting a young male worker, but charming greeting from a young female waitress who offers drinks. the salmon sushi is sufficient, ditto thunfisch and sushi, but the sushi tempura garnels were stone, motherless cold. the eel sushi were very cold. we were wondering. the tempura style otopus was hard and cold. what is going on here? have they given up because the place was not full? in despair, to eat a little hot on this very cold night, we ordered hot bun and it came freshly cooked like bland chicken carving from a pub special. we couldn't disturb us, make our green tee ready and for a fabulous concert by lisa fischer and the baton left. next time in chatswood we give makoto the cold shoulder, even if there is a warm night.
Generally good selection of food, some of it covered in a mayo abomination, unfortunately. When it came to paying, we were charged for chicken something that we didn’t order (you don’t get an itemised bill I saw it flash through on the cash register)...and the “Japanese” staff are mostly Chinese. One to avoid in future, methinks.
