Bidra med feedbackFans of seafood and spicy sauce? You need to try this Taiwanese seafood and fried stuff join, at the district, chatswood. Located just opposite TimHoWan,
Have been coming here several times and my favourite dish is the extra large crispy chicken. During my last visit though, I tried the crispy chicken bento meal. It was good but I definitely prefer the extra large fried chicken by itself as it’s more satisfying. Order was ready quickly.
Food is pretty average. Not really worth for the money you pay. Small portions compared to what they showcase. Probably the last time here at Chatswood.
Wasn’t in the mood for a full blown meal but street style snacks and as usual, after misreading the menu didn’t realize this was a massive rice bowl… This is why when I go out , I always leave the ordering to who ever I'm with and figure out what’s on my plate after. In saying that I wasn’t disappointed because the BRAISED PORK BELLY was so soft to the touch, your chopstick just glides right through it. That’ll set you back $7.50. The 3 piece Wing pack is just $3.90 - for me, a bit too salty, but was okay when having it with the left over rice from the pork dish. Their speciality here is actually seafood, so I couldn’t be further from what they do best. Nice value lunch option in ‘The District’ dining complex.
Needed a small afternoon snack, but really didn't want anything sweet, so stopped here. The fried chicken & squid are way too big for snacks. Got some sautéed calamari. It was very tasty, good texture, coated in a thick sweet soy sauce. Serving size wise was very small for $8.50. Not good value to order on it's own.
