Le Marginal - Châtillon-sur-Indre

New year dinner here. There was a 34 Euro menu with 5 courses and an aperitif. Very traditional, nicely cooked, portion sizes were just right. Not the most precious place, but if you are in the area and want a decent meal, this is a good option. Service friendly enough and efficient by the man and woman team.

Not in everything you expect, and go into what seems to be a residence / office, in what seems to be a warehouse, with massive wall paintings on the walls, a warm but different atmosphere surrounds you. Christine and Gilles are just the hostess and cook (good...big cook) with as many garden (its own) ingredients as possible. HOT plates, be careful, good French country food, the coc au vin had a sauce that stood the spoon, Vegs galore with a good presentation on the plate. Pride is the best to describe the couple.

Great value excellent food from lunch set menu (12 euros) including a drink. Although in interiors, very pleasant atmosphere with many local diners, always a good recommendation.

Bonne surprise on s'arrête par hasard dans un petit resto pas cher et on trouve un excellent repas à 12 € entrée, plat, fromage, dessert, vin et café. Bonne qualité et variété: 2 pâtés pour l'entrée, 4 légumes pour le plat, 3 fromages. Vin en carafe de bonne tenue. Adresse à retenir

Menu du jour à 12 euro avec entrée et plat (3 choix ) du jour fromage/salade et dessert... que demander de plus, en plus le service rapide.
