Frick's Fish Chips - Chatham

Being British I know what great fish and chips taste like and this place missed the mark. Counter service was also poor. I fancy Brit Boy's fish and chips as they taste closer to home.

I went here with a good friend whom I have not seen in some time. He ordered a 2 peice halibut, and I ordered a fountain drink.The order was take out so we sat their and chatted for a while. I drank my diet coke while the food was being prepaid.When his order was ready, I went up to the cash to pay for the pop and the kind lady said it 's on me .I insisted on paying, and she insisted that I have a great day and not pay.The food here is always great, the staff are awesome and the atmosphere is chill.Parking: Lots of parking

First time I’ve been to flick’s on recommendation as the best fish and chips…however disappointed…I ate in on paper plates…I ask for a small macaroni salad and received a serving the size of ketchup serving and was charged 2.90…not justifiable…as far as the fish being better than any other place…I’ve been to several other places and they got nothing exceptional…not happy

Maybe a tad pricey but that's how things are now. The staff is really great, and so is the food.

Awesome fish and chips and awesome service to go with it ??
