The Tap Room - Chatham

Was there a few months back and it definitely is not the same as it was pre-Covid. Seems that the clientele is definitely not the group of hipsters it was when the place first opened up. Unfortunately, the bar's ownership are the same ones that owned the Forest Park Tap room (formerly Healy's) which ultimately got their liquor license pulled and shut down by the town for a variety of reasons. Seems that some of the clientele from the FP Taproom have moved to the Berwyn Taproom.

The best places are accidental. Nice bar in Berwyn on 16th Street. Great beers and specials!! The 5 buck margarita was well worth the price. And GUINNESS on tap. Great service from EMILIO CRYSTAL. WELL worth a trip to Berwyn!!!!!

Last night was the second time my coworkers and I had been to Berwyn Tap Room. It was fun the first time, and even more fun last night. I love that it 's just a neighborhood bar. We were pretty rowdy and rambunctious, so I 'm sorry to the other folks who just wanted a quiet drink. I would say it 's a pretty chill kind of a spot, unless you have a large group. We had a little team building session with about 21 people so we took up some space (literally and figuratively . We were blowing off some steam and just trying to have fun after a few stressful weeks at work. They have a modern digital jukebox so my coworkers were playing a bunch of fun to dance to Spanish and English hits. -So, of course, we danced and laughed and acted silly. Big shout out to bartender Steve who served us and kept track of it all. He had a great personalty and I applaud his patience with our crazy group who was ordering A LOT of drinks. I also applaud his drink knowledge, as I asked about specific types of beers and he did not steer me wrong! The chocolatety stout (forgot the name! was excellent! I do not know the two ladies ' names but there were two females who were very sweet and keeping everything organized as well (taking away empty drinks, bringing ice from outside etc. So a big shout out to EVERYONE who was working last night. We try not to be bothersome to the locals, but when we want to hang out and drink, this is our spot!! We will surely be back for some more fun!

Used to like it and had some bad experience here It would be nice if they had a bartender that knew how to mix drinks .

NEIGHBORHOOD "Cheers "Bar! Where everyone knows your name... love this place. Great low key atmosphere, awesome beer selection. The only bar in Berwyn that you can seriously walk in, have a great time and walk out with a smile. My favorite bartenders Josh Shavon always a pleasure.
