Tobaru Park - Chatan

Beautiful park with an awesome roller slide and rope climbing structure, a lookout, basketball court, bathrooms and paved trails. Just make sure to make the parking lot the destination. Otherwise GPS will send you to a residential area with no parking.

The slide is not as fun as it looks. The first half is very slow and requires you to pull yourself along. If you don’t pull, you’ll just be stuck. The second half of the slide is fast, possibly too fast. Bring cardboard or something to sit on to protect your butt.

The slide here is very big, I recommend getting something to slide on. A thing called a hip slide is for your butt so it doesn't hurt after the ride. I bought it at DAISO if you want to look for it. When you bought the hip slide the slide is very very fun and there were restrooms as I saw. Also there are many dogs so it is dog friendly. A nice picnic area under a roof and some rocking horses are nearby,

Not bad for a small neighborhood park. The lookout tower has really nice views.
