Seaside Cafe Hanon - Chatan

Seaside Cafe Hanon has my favorite pancakes in American Village. The place is located upstairs on the second floor with great views of the boardwalk and sea. It has both inside and outside dining areas decorated in a laid back Mediterranean kind of vibe. I greatly appreciate the variety of toppings or sides you can choose to accompany your pancakes either making it savory, sweet, or both. The selection of drinks is almost overwhelming between coffees, juices, and cocktails but is welcomed. The pancakes are the star...fluffy and flavorful! You can pay with card or yen. Looking forward to returning :

Seaside Cafe Hanon has a classy feel to it, and presentation is meticulously executed. Preparing crafty pancake dishes is their specialty. They also have plenty of beverages to choose from that you will be tempted to snap a picture of with your camera. The staff were very nice and spoke enough English to accommodate the daily influx of American customers.

My favorite pancakes in American Village Show up early as the line gets long quickly. They open at 8 on weekends and 10 on weekdays. Write your name on the paper and they will have you a beeper which will go off when it's your turn. The aesthetic and atmosphere are very light and calming. The outdoor patio has an excellent view of the ocean. The pancakes are all delicious. The biggest stand out is the cream cheese pancakes. Their coffee drinks are also excellent, and the the Cappuccino is worth ordering just for the entire bear they draw with latte art.
