Bidra med feedbackDuring our lunch stop in Chase, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality and delicious food. The fresh and appetizing salad, generously sized meals, and varied menu options were all highlights of the experience. Although we ordered fries as a side, we found that they were unnecessary given the satisfying portions of our main dishes. We will certainly return when in the area again.
Restaurant is right downtown Chase in the Chase Hotel. Food is excellent and service very good. There was a fairly large group of us and servers kept up very nicely. Were knowledable about the menu. Nothing but good things to say here and will certainly eat here again when in Chase.
There are limited dining choices in Chase on a Monday evening, so we ended up at the Underwood. My husband ordered the roast beef special and I had the Bulgogi. Both dishes were average - not outstanding, but it was a budget-friendly meal.
Based on a local recommendation, we decided to try this restaurant for a light lunch and were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The restaurant is situated in an old hotel building, which adds to its charm. The layout is spacious with well-separated tables, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere. While the menu is somewhat limited, the items offered are executed well. Despite not being very hungry, we opted to share a 2 piece fish and chips along with a soup. The server kindly brought out the soup in two bowls and provided an extra plate for the fish and chips. Both dishes were satisfying. Our meal, along with a couple of soft drinks, came to a total of $23 before tip. A positive indication of the restaurant's quality was the sight of a group of local ladies enjoying their regular lunchtime gathering. Overall, we left content and would gladly return on our next visit to Chase.
If you like a bit of historical ambiance with your food this is the place to eat in Chase. It is located in an old hotel building and still has a bit of the atmosphere. One thing we really liked was the roomy layout to the dining floor. The menu is, granted, limited, mainly diner-ish food but what they do they do well. We were only looking for a very light lunch so we ordered a bowl of soup (potato/onion/leek) and a 2 piece fish and chips to share. the server brought out the soup in two bowl and an extra plate for the f & c. With a couple of soft drinks to go with it that came to $22.89 with tax but before tip. A friendly, home town feel to it; another table had a group of a half dozen local matrons having what was obviously a regular lunch meeting -- that sort of a place. We were happy with the whole experience (including the food) and would go back again if again in Chase.
