Voyages Escales Cafe - Chartres

Finally dragged myself to Paris and had to see what the hype was about.

THE macaron indeed! Some say it's overrated but I say delicious.

Petit café très bien situé, centre de Chartres, place Marceau. Belle vue sur la place une fois assis car les fenêtres sont très grandes. Jolie décoration, actuelle et chaleureuse. Cafés originaux, du monde entier. Délicieux gâteaux et très bon accueil!

Une découverte à Chartres,salades de qualité,originales et de bon gout,fromage et charcuterie délicieuse et café proposé par David qui est un vrai passionné.....lorsqu'il y a de l'amour autant que çà dans la cuisine et dans l'accueil,nous ne sommes plus traité en client,mais en amis.

Excellent little cafe that I honestly didn't expect to find in Chartres. David is a knowledgable and passionate barista who makes the kind of coffee that anyone who likes coffee enough to have a coffee app like Beanhunter, would surely love!If you're in the town for a day trip to see the cathedral etc, stop by for and indulge yourself. The cafe looks out onto a busy square, and is a good spot to sit and soak up the atmosphere. If you're with someone who doesn't love coffee like you do, fear not, they make awesome juice drinks too. I've enjoyed an amazing beetroot, apple and turnip juice there, though they've taken to calling me "Mr Flat White" as that's always my drink of choice here.They have wifi and are laptop friendly.
