Courtepaille Chartres

The staff here were very helpful and pleasant. The restaurant was quite busy for a weekday which gave the place a good atmosphere. Prices were reasonable, quality of food was very good, well cooked, menu had a good choice of meals not just standard burgers and chips. We have visited this chain of restaurants before when travelling through France and can say that the Chartres branch gave us the best quality of food and service we have had from the chain.

After being let down by our hotel we had to find an alternative. We ended up at Courtepaille and had a pleasant evening for 50 euros. That was main course, sweet coffees for 2.

After a life threatening trudge over the roads from the ibis we ate a well deserved dinner. Well deserved maybe but well delivered not. Staff were great but the food was average and more expensive than it should have been. €96+TIP for two is really not what you expect from a chain restaurant. In a snow storm with drifts of 2 feet I would be happy to return.but in any other time I will go on.

Quick lunch on the road. we chose this short-sized restaurant to avoid any bad surprise. We found the print of that sign. for less than 10 euros, we ordered a dish and a dessert. service was efficient and fast as we wanted. friendly and attentive staff and the very revenge manager. We did not regret our choice. the most, the terrace and the parking lot.
