Bidra med feedbackOn one of our regular wine buying trips our regular lunch stop was closed for holidays.Heading for Mercurey we hit on this small auberge just off the main road.We were very pleased we did. The usual menu for the area but very well prepared and cooked coupled with excellent friendly service. Will come again when next in the area, thoroughly recommended.
We have been twice as part of a wine tour around Burgundy. Both times we have taken the lunch menu, with extra wine and coffee. Quality is good, the welcome is warm and friendly and it is pretty easy to find. We will come again to try the full evening menu.
The restaurant is lovely, very traditional and packed to the doors on a Thursday evening in October! The atmosphere is very friendly and the owner attentive and speaks very good English. The set menu of 3 courses for 24.50 euros is fantastic and excellent value for money. The Beef Bourguignon a speciality of the region is wonderful and of course the local wine is amazing. The crème brulee desert was fantastic.Truly well worth a visit but don't forget to book in advance as there wasn't a free table.
We've been here three times now, both as a couple and with friends. Le Petit Blanc is decorated in traditional bistro style with checked tablecloths, great service and family feel as the restaurant is not large and impersonal. The food is traditional Burgundian with oeufs meurette cooked in both red ad white wine, which my husband loved. Worth a try.
Imagine a summer's evening: the sun is on its way down but its warmth is left behind. A table by a canal, covered in case of rain, a menu of Burgundian food to try. We have dined at Le P'tit Kir on many occasions and never failed to be impressed. Katie, the English patron works tirelessly to make the experience memorable. The food is very good and its presentation is imaginative and of course the location is perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
