On vacation in Charlottesville area looking for Italian food. Found this restaurant on Open Table. Turned out to be excellent choice.
Food and service was amazing! I think this is our new “go to” local place. Ambiance was good, nice background music. Perfect evening!
We received 3 desserts as a free one from a dear friend. so sweet.
Eating was easy ok and the service was slow, although the restaurant was empty.
Carmello’s is always our favorite restaurant stop when we visit the city from Georgia. they can always count on good service and delicious food.
