Brasserie Saison - Charlottesville

All about our experience here was top-tier. To start the environment here, is somewhere else in the city. This place is somehow very covered and very serious at the same time. Our server Alexa was very knowledgeable and incredibly nice. The service was great and very seamless. The food is extremely good and can really not be exactly described without tasting it yourself. In my opinion, boss Chris is the best in the area and far exceeds everything I've ever had in Gordonsville. The steactar was incredible and the cheese plate was perfectly cured. The chicken was a mixture of home comfort with great city authority and the quail would rival everything on every menu in the city. If you want a great dinner, you have to look at the brasserie.

It’s not often you find a place with the perfect mix of atmosphere, menu and service. My husband and I happen to stop by Cville on our way from NC to PA (home), and we were fortunate to find this place to get dinner. Our server Alexa was INCREDIBLE.. kind, attentive and engaging! I had the trout and my husband had the lamb.. both perfectly cooked and seasoned. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Fantastic restaurant! We made reservations so they already knew we were celebrating a special occasion and had a food allergy, both of which they confirmed after we arrived. We had two cocktails, the beef bitterballen starter, steak frites and the crispy scallops (with ratatouille). Everything tasted amazing and the staff was so friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

Very good luncheon. The muscles were exceptionally good and there were a lot of them. The french fries are perfect, crispy on the outside and soft in the center, hot with a I saw that beats ketchup by far. All four of our group were pleased with our meals. The drinks and IPA or well-crafted.

Went for my birthday and they were wonderful! Greeted us with a “happy birthday “ and even brought my dessert with a candle on it. Nice touch! Food and service was amazing. Definitely going back to experience more yummy things on the menu.
