Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Charlotte

YUM! I was in the mood for a healthy smoothie and deli sandwich and this place hit the spot! I ordered the Pomegranate Plunge smoothie. It is a big size and taste delicious! Not over sweet or bitter. I also ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch which came on a cibatta bun. There was a lot of turkey in the sandwich which was very nice! I will be ordering from here again soon and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthy meal and smoothie!

Horrible experience everytime I come here. I request the same thing at all locations but they always make a big deal out of my requests. Today the manager and the young lady making the smoothies were completely rude. I will not be returning to this location.

So the demographics of the employees has changed over the past few months. In the past, the attitudes were hit or miss but the food was well prepared and the presentation was perfect. Today (4/24) 6:15pm while visiting, I experienced a different vibe. A young guy who appeared to be of East Indian descent took my order. He was very pleasant, smiled and thanked me for my order. I waited patiently for the older gentleman to make it. I watched him cordially smile and give salutations to other customers. However, when it came to me, he sat my smoothie on the counter and walked away. I was slightly taken aback but i thanked him anyway. Never once did he look back or acknowledge me. I know he heard me because other workers on opposite sides of him turned and looked at me. I even waited to see was he going to turn and acknowledge me; still nothing! I contemplated a response for a few seconds. I decided I would not let any negative energy change my mood. Next time, I will just drive to a different location and pray for better service.

This location is great! Their sunrise sunset smoothie is my favorite and is to die for ?

Waited in here for 40 min while other peoples smoothie’s were made. When I got my order the bag had hairs in it. The health inspector needs to come check this place out. How do you operate a business like this in 2022. I went back to talk to the manager and he acted like he didn’t know how to do his job. Someone from corporate will be hearing from me.
