Bidra med feedbackWe made reservations for New Years Eve at 6:30. We were dining with our daughter and her fiancée. It was his first time dining there and we reassured him based on our previous experiences, it was good. The hostess immediately told us we had to be out by 9:00pm because someone had booked the restaurant from 9-3 to celebrate NYE. As she seated us, my husband jokingly said, we should stay for the party! The hostess said, I don’t think they will like that. WOW. She also told us to be quick about it. At 7:00pm we had an appetizer and drinks. At 7:25 our waitress took our dinner order. While waiting, the restaurant was taken over by people dressed like the cast from The Great Gatsby, moving tables, decorating, giving diners dirty looks as if we were an inconvenience! We literally had next to ZERO service. At one point, we stopped who we assumed was a manager and asked were our food was. About 10 minutes later our waitress came out and wanted to know if we wanted our check! I told her we hadn’t even got our food yet! Apparently, the manager misheard us and thought we had asked for the check. At 8:25 I actually got up and walked over the the food holding area/kitchen were there were about 6 employees standing and another manager. I said, it’s been an HOUR since we order our food! How much longer?????? The manager said it was coming. They didn’t charge us for our meal but did for the appetizer and drinks. Drinks were not good at all. The Riesling tasted like it was watered down. As did the dirty martini. This horrible experience by far tops any other bad experiences at any restaurant we’ve ever been to. I blame poor management. It truly ruined our NYE!
Sunday brunch was fantastic. The menu had a wide variety of choices and I thought the prices were good. We had a side order of breakfast potatoes that were phenomenal. I would go back there just for those potatoes!!!

We love this restaurant but last night’s overall experience was so disappointing. We obviously had a very inexperienced waitress (I guess no one wants to work Xmas Eve) although it was 4 pm. We ordered 2 cups of lobster bisque soup and the waitress brought bowls (charged us an extra $4.00 each). The fried calamari appetizer was basically a bunch of chopped lettuce on top of a handful of the tiniest calamari I’ve ever seen. They must’ve cut the rings in half! The dinner entrees were very small. My son-in-law ordered the chicken cutlet dish with pasta. Wish I would’ve taken a picture. We all know pasta is the least expensive food item so why would they serve a mini portion (maybe three forkfuls at best) and a tiny chicken breast. He had to go home ant eat he was so hungry. My medallions of filet were delicious but again I told the waitress I didn’t want mashed potatoes but a double veggie instead and was charged $4.00 extra. My daughter ordered mussels and they were so salty she couldn’t even eat them. I’ve been in the food industry for 30 years and this meal was a ripoff for what we paid!
The food was really good, but our appetizers came out about 5 minutes after our entrees.
