Bidra med feedbackFirst time and went during lunch. Service was great and fast. I had pasta and the sauce was amazing. May be a little too salty to some but it's really good nonetheless. The platters were delicious!
I loved this place. Social media can take you far when used right and I saw this restaurant on Instagram. The meat selections could have been just a tad bit more seasoned, but the sauce was so tasty it didn't even matter. I had the Super Combo and my friend had the C-Port Platter (both photos shown). The corn was tender and flavorful after it sat in the butter sauce. The crab clusters were steamed to perfection to the point where the shell was still firm and the meat slid out when you cracked it. The lobster meat melted in your mouth, as it should. The portions are appropriate, but I wished I had two pieces of sausage instead of only one. I'll also say I hate the fact the steamed shrimp still had all the shells on them. I would've been OK with the tail shell, but it made things very difficult to remove the whole shell with already slippery hands. If you're in the area, definitely go. I would definitely even suggest making a special trip if you can turn it into a day trip. Kudos!
The food was amazing!!!! So damn good. My only complaint is their table seating protocol is terrible. We waited for a LONG time because the hostesses kept saying they were full BUT THERE WERE SO MANY EMPTY TABLES THEY WERE CLEARLY UNAWARE OF. (But the wait was absolutely worth it)
Food was everything you could imagine for affordable prices! Vibe was the cherry ontop. They had thee best playlist going throughout our time there. Our waiter Eli was very friendly and attentive. It was cold inside the restaurant so I would recommend you take a sweater or light jacket.
Its definitely something in the sauce! We have around 7 or 8 seafood boil restaurants in Charlotte now... Seafood Connection is the original though and the sauce is amazing... There may be a little wait but it's worth it!
