Bidra med feedbackThis is a place where I definitely return. Good evening vibe and delicious food. Some dishes in our group were better than others, but overall we were satisfied.
I actually ate here the first night they were opened. The food was very good. The service was a bit slow, but it would be hard for me to say if that was due to it being their first night. I will definitely go back, they had so many great sounding things on the menu.
I rated this restaurant 2 stars because the service was quick, but I won’t be returning. As someone from the Caribbean, I know exactly how Caribbean food should taste. I was craving oxtail, but I should have just bought some fresh ingredients and cooked it myself. The meat was tough, and the rice was undercooked. The sauce was spicy but lacked any real flavor. The pieces of oxtail were tiny and disappointing. This place seems aimed at those who don’t know what authentic Jamaican food is supposed to taste like.
The Caribbean cuisine was quite good. Initially, my wife and I felt that the curry goat had a bit too much allspice and not enough curry, but once we mixed everything together, the curry flavor really came through. Overall, it ended up being a really enjoyable meal. My wife ordered the whole sea bass, which was truly flavorful and exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend this place. However, the saltfish fritters were just okay, and I probably wouldn’t order them again.
The food was incredible! The red snapper was perfect—moist and cooked to perfection! It was definitely worth the price! I ordered the dish meant for two and ended up finishing it all by myself... It was that good!
