Bidra med feedbackWe visited Charlotte to restaurant hop and this was our 1st place we stopped for Dinner... everything was amazing the food, the service and the atmosphere. We ordered the lamb chops and the "it 's all there... **** Mary! The calamari was very good. All the drinks come out with smoke it was awesome!!! Sent out a text as a must visit and we will be back soon it!!!
Loved the ambience and the customer service! We came on sat 8/26/23 around 7pm without reservations so sat at the bar. The bartender Justin was really nice and recommended a great cocktail that was very tasty. The food can be pricey because you have to consider all the flair they give you with the food presentation. I was in the mood for a salad and some salmon, and it was good, so was the crab dip appetizer. Only complaints is the automatic service charge and the bartender never gave us back our Credit Cards after we paid. My friend and I was too distracted by other things that we didn't realize it until the next morning and when we called the establishment only had one of our cards in their possession. Would I go back? Yes for sure but only so often.
I have been to this place twice and I love everything about it. I brought my mom for her birthday and my boyfriend when he was in town. The atmosphere is fun, yet chill. The food is delicious and the drinks are fun! The location is perfect because it's still downtown but tucked away to not be in the heart of downtown.
We dis the dining in the dark experience and it was so fun! The food was amazing and staff was incredibly helpful.We had the 'red dinner ' which meant it was a meat dish. Our appetizers came inside a mini air fryer and was so cool! The main course was a delicious duck confit with veggies. And im still thinking about the sauce that was on the duck.Dessert was a refreshing strawberry lime Sorbet.Definitely try the smoked old fashion! They don 't skimp on anything, great price for Woodford reserve!
This was my first time at this place. We came for my friends birthday. She made a reservation, which you have to put a deposit down for for a party of 8. 6 of us were there at the time, so we were seated, but there was another table next to us that was open and available if no one reserved it. My friend asked if the table was reserved and the manager Kylin(or something similar) said they were completely booked. When the others arrived, they came over to speak and knew they had to sit at the bar due to the place being booked. Kylin and the scary hostess walked up to my friend and said, we can 't so the back and forth. ....... There wasn 't any back and forth, but let 's move forward. So the booked table next to us stayed completely empty for the next 45 minutes, and we asked again if the rest of the party could sit their. That same manager said no and moved a couple that was already seated behind us to that table AFTER we asked to utilize it. He was not accommodating at all and made most of our first experience bad. The food itself was good, and the presentation was amazing. The other manager, John, did whatever he could to make us feel better, and we appreciated him. As we were about to leave one of our friends needed a bag because the waitress forgot to give us one, so she located it and again, Kylin comes from out of nowhere asking what we 're doing and she simply said getting a bag for our food. I 'm not sure what was said after that, but it pissed her off. I probably would go back if John is working because the place is really nice. Food is pricey.
