Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I've always loved cracker barrel, come for many years. this afternoon my family came to lunch at 2 o'clock. I had the worst experience ever. we had joann who was a new server (so I was told) I understand that new service was not top-notch, but we were extremely patient. Joann took our food and drink order and we never saw it again. When that came, it was completely wrong. we had to be refilled or checked all the time. we missed a whole thing and nobody seemed to be interested. I had to ask for fillings, sauces, boxing and eating that never came out. I was actually the server. a manager never came to check or did the server. I honestly think she left togo home. when we had to pay the front, there were food we didn't have. that was the worst experience! a manager should have said something or even offered additional help or training. 0/10 no one has an idea what they do.

Host was amazing, lady, who sat us was very nice, our waiter shane was very attentive and the cash was also very sweet. we came from the fashion show of our daughter and were just hungry. this cracker barrel was the closest to us back to home, so we stopped. we are here too often this year and all our visits were great. Depending on the time and day of our visit, it is either angelica or shane, that is our server. They're both great. we get shane almost always and he is very attentive to our needs. we don't care to type more than 20% than the service was beyond and beyond. as usual shane has made a great job. that was great. we ordered steak and we forgot shane to say how cooked we wanted it, so he went back to make sure we get our steaks as we want it, medium rare. the sides were great. peach tea is our favorite and we love our refills. ?vegetarian options: good vegetable side picks! child-friendly: our child loves to play with the game on the table and the children's menu. she also enjoys surfing the shop for toys. parking: always plentiful!

Hate having to give this 2 stars but it took an hour and a half to get our food… they weren’t super busy. We had to ask for everything including silverware and ranch 3x. My food was actually very good but my bf got breakfast and the portion size was tiny, and tasted like plastic. The bill was a little high too
