Great Lakes Whitefish Chips

Plenty of seating options available, including outdoor areas, an indoor bar, and a dining space. The menu features a great variety of food choices. The wait staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. I wish I had tried the olive burger; I opted for the regular burger instead, which was above average. I was visiting Charlevoix for a wedding at the castle.

Last night's dinner of broiled walleye and a baked potato was absolutely perfect!

Great food in a charming location that's within walking distance from the ferry. We ordered the fish and chips, and my daughter, who loves French fries, declared that the fries were more than satisfactory!

The staff here are wonderful, but the food is just average. Unfortunately, the owner, Jerry, leaves much to be desired. He comes across as unprofessional, arrogant, and aggressive. It's quite concerning that, as the owner of a bar/restaurant, he drinks on the job – something that locals have confirmed. So go ahead and have another beer, Jerry, but my friends and I won't be returning. If Jerry were to read this, he might very well say, “Get the f*** out…!" It's hard to believe that someone like him can be a business owner. He should really take a long hard look at himself.

My sister and I stopped to eat here for a quick bite, we weren't very hungry so we decided to just split a fish sandwich. The waitress seemed a bit judgmental on us wanting to split a sandwich. Once she realized we were only ordering one thing she basically ignored our table the rest of the time, didn't refill our drinks and at the end asked if we also wanted to split the check on the one sandwich. The fish was fine, the service wasn't our favorite. Also the fish sandwich is $13 and the size of your palm so while we weren't that hungry we felt like the price was a bit astronomical for what the dish was
