Bidra med feedbackAmazing food and friendly service! This will definitely be a regular place!
This place is tucked a bit off of Folly road but it worth grabbing food here. Prices are extremely reasonable. They are careful with covid (signage at door and seating is nicely spread out). Food is delicious and portions are generous. I left very full and my boyfriend who has a huge appetite couldn't finish everything. I will definitely be back the next time I am craving some good ole southern home cooking!
I used to live in Charleston and came by for lunch. Now whenever I visit Charleston I make sure to come by to eat. Good food, good prices, and good service.
This place is EXCEPTIONAL! Had the best ribs I have ever encountered here. The red rice was equally outstanding, as was the Corn bread. The Mac and Cheese was good, but not my favorite, as it tasted more like a custard, making me think it has some egg in the recipe. Wasn't bad, just not what I typically enjoy. That said it was hot, in fact, all the food was nice and hot and fresh. The ribs must be baked in BBQ sauce as it was deliciously tangy and firmly attached to the meat. No need to pick them up, was easily eaten with a fork as they were the tenderest ribs I have ever encountered, and the flavor, all I can say is OMG! That goes for the red rice too. The blend of spices were seamlessly balanced. The cornbread was sweet and moist. I can absolutely say, this was one of the best meals I have ever had!
I almost dont want to rate this place because I dont want yall to get the meatloaf and fried chicken before me. Best fried chicken in town, extremely friendly, great prices and large portions. One of my favorite places to eat. Just good old fashioned greasy spoon.
