Jim and Alejandro were absolutely amazing to work with. The cake for our wedding was the hands on the best cake I ever had. We had lemon blueberry in an animal and carrot cake in the other animal and both were impeccable. As you can see on the photos, the design was also fantastic and everything with butter cream. They also worked with us when we had a change in delivery location due to the weather. I honestly cannot say enough big about these two and their beautiful society.

Jim and Alejandro made and delivered the most amazing Grooms Cake for my Son's Rehersal Dinner on board the Carolina Girl Yacht. They are very easy to work, their cakes are true works of art. Every penny worth, we decided on a Nautian theme chocolate Cointreau cake. The cake was really decadent, all our guests shaved over this amazing cake! I would recommend Jim Smeals cake for any special occasion.

Jim and Alejandro are Charleston's best baker of wedding cake. We were lucky to have a three tied, beautifully decorated cake that had a different taste in each of the signatories. The orange layer was our favorite, but we heard a lot of akoladen for the rest of the cake. It was such a treat!

We worked with Jim for our October 2019 wedding in DeBordieu and he is so talented! I struggled to find a bakery I loved in Georgetown area, and one of my bridesmaids (which is also a wedding planner) recommended Jim because she previously worked with him. I'm so glad we found him! We met with Jim in his beautiful home and he immediately got my vision for the cake. I never had any doubt it would be exactly what I wanted. Every single cake taste we tasted was amazing, but we ended after choosing almond amaretto and orange triple sec. I am not the biggest fan of wedding cake in general, but its flavors were above the top! I would definitely recommend Jim to other brides in the Charleston/Georgetown area. Thank you. Jim!

I work for a popular catering company. Most of the events we cater are nice weddings. When I walk in to an event and see one of Mr. Smeals cakes, it makes my night! His perfection is recognizable and I can't stop looking at it. To truly appreciate the beauty of his cakes, you have to see them in person. And, unlike many wedding cakes, his are also delicious.
