Vespa Pizzeria - Charleston

The service was fantastic and so was the food! The prosciutto and pineapple pizza will be calling my name until I die! My husband had a meat lover’s pizza and said it was wonderful. We don’t live in the area so going back requires a five hour drive. We will be back!

Got take out. Couldn’t tell you how the food was because they didn’t close the lid to it and the sauce spilled all over the inside of my car. Thanks for ruining my night!

I ate here on a Friday evening with a table of 5. We noticed people that came in after us got their appetizers (which happened to be the same as ours) before us despite our order being made way before them and that’s when my experience started to go downhill. Our server was nice, but wasn’t very attentive. As I got halfway through my meal, I was left with no drink because the server never came back to offer refills. I noticed we often waited a while for small things. Having her disappear for a longer than normal time was rather frustrating. My pizza was decent, but definitely not worth $16. Another member of my party had pizza with terribly dry chicken that was over seasoned with what looked to be garlic. We drove quite a ways to come here but overall was not worth the price, drive, or time.

The fungi pizza was amazing! The beer was good and the zeppole’s were over the top delicious! If you’re in the area definitely stop by here.

Cute place, I'd say between the fungi and the bella pizza. The bella is my favorite.
