The Rooftop At Vendue - Charleston

My mom and I will come back for sure! This hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Not to mention they have the best staff. Everyone was attentive, friendly, helpful, and made us feel like we were just coming home every night we were there! Chasity, Danielle, and I can’t remember his name, but he had the best personality and smile made us feel so welcome! Thank you for making sure we had an amazing time you know we love Charleston because of you all!Rooms: Absolutely gorgeous plus they have the USB chargers I love near the bedsNearby activities: The waterfront Park and pineapple fountain are so close, and only a few blocks away from city market and rainbow Row!Safety: We felt safe at the hotel and around the hotel as we walk to nearby sitesWalkability: Walk ability score is a 10 we were close to mini destinations and in the center of food bars and yummy dessert cafésFood drinks: The rooftop drinks were amazing excellent service as well!Noteworthy details: It’s the red touches for me and the beautiful artwork!

My wife surprised me with a weekday getaway to Charleston for my birthday.Staying at The Vendue was incredible and the location of this place is unbeatable, it is right in the heart of everything you’ll want to do in Charleston and within walking distance from many places to eat/drink/shop and the waterfront park is about a five minute walk. The reception check-in area was nothing like we have experience before. The service and staff was very accommodating.The rooms were a nice size and the bed was very comfortable and had bath robes, safe and an umbrella. Other amenities include a daily art Reception, art tours, milk cookies from 9-10pm as well as bicycles for the guests to use. The attached restaurant and rooftop bar were both great.I would advised everyone to use the valet service to eliminate headaches finding parking. This is the perfect place to stay for exploring Charleston on foot or bicycle.

Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. We slept well and were in walking distance to all of downtown Charleston. The staff was helpful and extremely hospitable. Many perks and extras!Rooms: So cozy and cute!!!Food drinks: Rooftop bar and upscale restaurant in same building

We stayed in the newer/renovated building and it was 5 stars. Staff went above and beyond. I loved the design of this hotel and the rooms were nice. You can't beat the location and the attached bar/restaurant were both great. We really enjoyed our trip and the service was first class.Walkability: Right next to the water/pier while also being steps away from historic downtown with dining and shopping.

What a cool place to stay! Service was outstanding! Artwork was such a refreshing change to the chain hotels. They provide a morning light breakfast (banana, apple, croissants, muffins, butter and jelly) hanging on your door each morning what a novel and delightful idea! Cookies and mile from 9 10 pm! I would definitely recommend a stay here if you want to try something a little/lot different then the cookie cutter hotels! (one suggestion a microwave and small refrigerator in the rooms)
