The Low Down - Charleston

Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks, great smiles! Great addition to the James Island community. Def will return. Also a great alternative for Sunday brunch.

Great atmosphere. I liked this set up with fire pits an open air bar and exterior seats. The children's menu is also a plus. I think creating your own pizza would be a nice addition to the menu. I'd make my own with her meatballs.

Love IT!. This is a rare discovery on James Island. The location is great, family-friendly, outdoor seating and fantastic food. I was several times and tried another article on the menu each time. My favorites have been the tomato cakes, the nachos and the meatballs. There is a different flare to eat, just what JI needs and not just another bar with bar food. I am very pleased to take my family here and enjoy an evening with dinner and drinks or just stop for a quick bite for lunch.

Tried lowdown for lunch, got 2 sandwiches (shortrib and peach bbq) that were great. Cocktails were even better. I thought the service was great, and I'm glad to go back!

Quaint bar and grill. Got wings with hot and 4sho hot which are hot but not to an extreme degree. Please remember I like spicy things. They make their own ranch dressing and it is awesome. So far I have to say the wings alone are worth coming for. Main dish burger with out bun, my choice cutting carbs kinda . All in all worth coming back to.
